Little Johnny arrived at school late one morning.

His teacher asked, “Johnny, why are you late again?”

Johnny replied, “Because the sign outside the school says, ‘School Ahead, Go Slow.’”

The entire class laughed.

The teacher shook her head. “Johnny, you’re the most troublesome student I’ve ever had. Tell me, what would you like to become when you grow up?”

“A millionaire!”

“And how will you do that?”

“Easy! I’ll marry a beautiful woman who owns a big company.”

The teacher rolled her eyes. “And what if she doesn’t want to marry you?”

Johnny replied, “Then I’ll become a teacher like you.”

The teacher looked offended. “Why would you become a teacher?”

Johnny smiled. “Because my dad says teachers get paid even when they can’t make their students understand anything!”

The teacher sent him straight to the principal’s office.

The principal asked, “Johnny, what did you do this time?”

Johnny explained everything.

The principal sighed. “Listen, young man. If you keep making jokes about teachers, you’ll never succeed in life.”

Johnny nodded seriously.

“Sir, can I ask you a question?”

“Go ahead.”

“Did you always want to become a principal?”

“Yes,” the principal proudly replied.

Johnny leaned forward and whispered, “Then why did you become a principal instead of a successful person?”

The principal stared at him for a moment.

Then he picked up the phone and called Johnny’s father.

When his father arrived, the principal said, “Your son is impossible!”

Johnny’s father looked at his son and said, “Johnny, apologize immediately!”

Johnny turned to the principal and said, “I’m sorry, sir.”

The principal relaxed.

Then Johnny added, “I’m sorry you had to spend your whole life dealing with kids like me!”
